Hi guys!
after blowed um my RX480 i grabbed an Gigabyte AORUS Radeon™ RX580 4G (rev. 1.0) with the attached BIOS on it.
it works fine after undervolting via AMD Software without any crashes. (with stock voltage settings i had several crashes during gaming).
Now i wanted to upgrade to Windows 11 and the problems begin.
as you can see in the screenshot the gfx has uefi support, but if i disable CSM and swich to UEFI the screen goes black until windows is loaded. So after powering on the sistem until the windows login screen come up i have no signal on monitor.
to enter bios again or see something during boot i have to factory reset bios.
so i have read around and come up to the conclusion my bios was modified for mining.
i decited to flash it with an stock Bios and jumped to gigabytes support page. there are 3 bioses provided but all 3 for rev. 1.1, i have an rev 1.0 card.
first question, is it safe to put on a rev 1.0 card an rev 1.1 bios, i have contacted gigabyte for an rev 1.0 bios without any replay at this time.
on techpowerup i found 3 matching bioses but i am not sure if they are for rev 1.0 or rev 1.1
so my second question is, does anyone have an stock bios for my gfx card running on Elpida Rams..
