need help with ati 6950 power color vortex II to unlock voltage control

hi guys i have ati 6950 Vortex II PowerColor
i read here on this site it can be unlocked to 6970 i tryed and didnt unlock and i try to unlock voltage control with MSI AFTERBURNER and sapphire trixx and didnt work with me too
so anyone here can tell me how i can control voltage and unlock CCC limits thanks

Is this HD 6950 vortex II 2Gb version, if Yes; it look like the GPU registers [Voltage registers] hard locked in bios.

You can check this by using GPU-Z to -

extract/copy the vga bios [press the chip] save to file



open the copy vga bios using RBE; [both available in the main page under the heading Our Software]

O good lord another one trying to futz with hacking around in the bios .... inb4 bricking it its hardware locked it lacks the hardware to regulate voltages beyond the amd spec
put the bios editor away before you break it

I have an unlocked 6950....The difference in real world games between locked an unlocked is nill after it is OC'd to 840 core and 1300 mem....just saying...only diff I ever saw was in useless benchmarks...
