Need help with LGA 1156 mobo selection

So, a friend of mine is building a new rig and is determined to get Core i5 760. Now, neither him nor me know which LGA 1156 motherboards are good, so I'd kindly ask you guys for help.

Unfortunately, we're limited to one local shop only:
link (those are LGA 1156 boards, sorted by price, page is in Croatian, sorry for the inconvenience)

Thanks for any input on the matter.

PS I should probably mention his budget. It is about 700 Kn (Croatian kunas; 100 € =~ 730 Kn) for the motherboard, but it could be stretched a bit if something is really better for a small bump in price

Me, being a Gigabyte fan, my first recommendation was Gigabyte P55-UD3L (as it was exactly in his budget), but as I already said, I don't know much about Intel boards, especially boards for LGA 1156 and 1366

I would generally recommend a Gigabyte board, but if your friend wants his computer to last more than 2 years (which I assume he will), then he might want to seriously consider usb3.

If your friend wants to overclock he/she will find no impediment from the mb's standpoint. I have used many of Gigabytes mb's and all clock like the devil.

Yeah, that's the one I used for the 530/3DM06 run...probably the highest clocking mb out of the bunch, even on extreme cooling.

I've had a GB UD7, EVGA P55 FTW, GB H55, and ASUS Sabertooth 55i, loved them all. Personally from my experiences with all of them, and those companies with other chipsets, I would go with Gigabyte first, though I have to say, the ASUS Sabertooth 55i I have now is a rock solid board. Also the fastest booting board I've ever had.

This would be my choice....You would have to bump up your Price a little bit but I veiw it is the board that gives you the most options for the buck.

It is Crossfire capable....It has great Mofset cooling. Plus it looks as you could overclock well if you choose in the future.

My next choice would be this one.... Gigabyte H55M-UD2H http://www.adm.hr/product_info.php?cPath=258_217_214_314&products_id=7970 It is right in your price range But the only reason I chose the MSI board first over this one is the stock cooling on the Mofsets are better with the MSI board then this one.

http://www.adm.hr/product_info.php?cPath=258_217_214_314&products_id=8241 Gigabyte P55-USB3 This last one is not in your price range but if you can swing it I think it's your best option all around (With out being ridiculous pricing yourself way to high) If you can swing it and maybe save up a few more weeks I would try to go here.

Hope this helps bud....But in short my favorite manufacturer is Gigabyte.... they have never let me down. Although every manufacturer there with the exception of ASrock is good IMO. ASrock every board I have ever got from them died really quickly. Although I hear things have gotten better lately.
