(Skip to the bold text below if you don't want to read the back story.)
Recently I dropped my Rhapsody On Demand account, even though I was grandfathered in at a $6 a mo price due to having had MusicMatch and YahooMusic, which was eventually acquired by them. I just wasn't using it enough to justify the expense.
I am now going back and forth between using Slacker and Pandora free accounts. Pandora is more user friendly as far as being able to delete stations, but I don't like their genre presets. I find Slacker's Alt Hard Rock much better than Pandora's Adult Alt.
Another thing I prefer about Slacker is they just automatically pause for short commercial breaks, which I can't even hear with the ad blockers I use. Pandora will actually stop and ask via a message if there's anyone listening, saying the streams cost them money and they don't like playing to an empty room. Kinda absurd, and I don't know if that's normal or it's detecting my ad blockers blocking ads or something. At any rate, at least with Slacker I don't have to go and click on the page every time the music stops.
Which brings me to my main question, how do you delete stations you've created on a free Slacker account? Is it even possible? I've done some searches for this, and found some advice, but what was mentioned does not make sense to me, so I'm either not seeing options that are supposed to be there, or need to use the old site, or, it could be this is not a feature available on free accounts, which would be absurd since you can create and customize stations.
