a bit expensive but IMO worth it since you won't ever have to worry bout your PSU lol. Proud owner of an HX850 here

I've got an HX 750W as well (actually selling it next week as I upgraded to a 1KW). Too bad you're in AUS or I'd offer to sell it to ya. You'll be very happy with it. And you can't beat the 7 year warranty.

I commend you for being concerned about your PSU quality. The average person doesn't, anf it causes SO many problems.

If it's a gaming machine you just buy the best PSU for the wattage you need , and that's definitely enermax MODU series currently , you don't need more than 700W , not even more than 600W , but you always take the fact that you don't load your PSU on 100% so that's why you awlays should buy more than you need (better efficiency at 80% or lower capacity)

I have an 2008 Liberty DXX 620W from enermax , and it's more than enough , expensive too , but i bought the best just to have zero problems , and infact i do have zero problems , i had problems with ram this 2008 build that i did my self, because i bought cheap rams back when i didn't had a clue.

I got so many problems with my early long ago (nooby) PC , with power, shutdowns freezes , everyone told me power problem , replaced the PSU three times , still the same problem when it came back , not more 16EUR psus , but a 150 EUR one , problem solved, 12V rail voltages still above +12Volt, super stable.
