Im building a new PC this is what im planning:

CoolerMaster Stacker 832
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600
XFX nForce 680i SLi (Socket 775) motherboard
2x 8800gtx or gt SLI
3 GB Corsair DDR2 XMS2 Dominator
Audigy 2 ZS 7.1

But ive been hearing things aboult the XFX nForce 680i SLi being unstable and they only come with a 2 year warranty. Would anybody be able to shed some light on this or would you recommend another board? Im looking to spend aboult £150 mabe a little more if i have to.

It gives you a 2 year warr. and I think its good. if your worried about not having a use with the board in a few years, I suggest getting the evga 680i board.. evga gives you the ability to upgrade at a discounted price

Why not get a X38 for 200 and get two HD 3870's? That would be alot easier imo

IMO its the best! I love the look and board all together. And you'll love it, and have the ability to go and upgrade for cheap... so good luck!
