Need some help converting an image

I am trying to convert a .CR2 image into something my school website will recognize. Everytime I use one of these online converters it puts a pink/magenta filter over the entire image. I can't get a clean conversion. I took the image with a Canon EOS Rebel T6i in RAW format. On the card it says .CR2.
The instructor says that .jpg/.jpeg , .gif and .pdf are the best. What is the best way to freely do this with no foul ups like a pink filter..

Paint dot NET(it will link to the wrong page if I spell it correctly, here's the real link)

I don't know for sure if they'll work. But that's where I'd start. They can all be used to convert or save as/export as, to one degree or another.

Can you attach it?

RAW is probably most similar to bitmap but without seeing the binary of it, can't really determine anything.

Canon Software should be free to download as well and open cr2 then save as jpeg, Digital Photo Pro look for software download in posted link

If you have access to photoshop or similar programs, you'll have no problems converting them to whatever you need

True but he will need to make sure Photoshop is updated with latest Raw or with other programs he will need the Raw plug-in so he can open the RAW file. It was an early issue with Nikon and MS Paint/photo but a quick download of the plug in and everything works.

Got it. Coverted to blurry .jpeg using online converter, can't remember which. No pink filter now....I didn't even think about the software that came with the camera... that software is on a laptop that I forgot about. Thanks everyone.
