i know guys, its an old, but this i7-930 is still rocking it
the x58 board i have is an old EVGA one 131-GT-E767 - used to run my quad sli of 590s, but the SATA ports have been dying once in a while causing a blue screen.
I originally wanted a x58 Sabertooth from Asus but they are all sold out from amazon and I can only get refurbished ones. Need some suggestions - I also have a Sound card + a NIC so i need enough slots for the 4

Quad 590s? Your power bill must be high. Really you should think about selling.

quad means two for 590 or any other dual gpu cards since they only have one sli finger.

Yes, I think he knows that, but that does not take a away from the fact that the power draw from those cards would be enormous.

Yeah that was weird of them.

Where do you live? They are easy to come by here (starting at €110). And to be fair refurbished doesn't have to be bad. They usually come with a warranty anyway so there should be no problems there. Plus you save some money going that route.
