Need to flash X1800XL 512MB with a XT BIOS

Hi Guys,

I've recently picked up one BBA x1800XL 512MB card from ebay recently. I think its just downclocked x1800xt as its got the same dual slot cooler and also have 6 phase supply. Here is its pic:

What do you guys think? Should I go ahead flashing it with XT BIOS ? Which BIOS should I use?
I've heard timings on x1800xl memory are tighter than x1800xt. I'm assuming the BIOS flash would also take care of loosing the timings, right?

oc it with ati tool first, you'll have voltage control and should be able to determine if it will run the 625 core 750/1500 mem stable. DOn't flash it until you're sure it will run at those speeds.

I was thinking of that...Reading around the net. i've found that this card is undervolted..I supposedly need 1.3V on the core and 2.0 on the memory..
Core's fine but do I need to loosen the timings on Memory before i feed in the voltage and OC it to 750..
@cdawall I'll think of getting better cooler once I overclock it to XT speeds after looking at temps.

EDIT: I've checked out techpowerup BIOS library for X1800XT 512MB BIOSes... It seems all of 'em are same with having odd speeds of 600/700 (instead of 625/750)...also Rabit 2.2.0 reports memory as 256MB for each of these BIOS :confused:

I also tried ATI Bios editor 2.7 but it dosen't recognize the BIOS...
