Okay so i was concidering upgrading my PC and i was looking at two possible choices being

The Athlon x4 630
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103704

or
AMD Phenom II X3 705e
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103683

The main concern here is proformance i want the best CPU that would do limited bottleneck to my GPU. Thanks in advance:rockout:

For games, the X3 will probably be slightly faster because of the L3 cache. If you don't mind the higher power consumption, the Phenom II X3 720 BE would be a better choice because of the higher clock speed and the unlocked multiplier.

Between the X4 630 and the X3 705e, I would choose the X4, the extra core and clock speed would probably almost make up for the L3 in games. However, if you are willing to consider the X3 720, that would be the best choice in your price range.

If anyone had any changes to suggestion please let me know

Also remember i am keeping my GPU, i just feel like something is wrong with my PC (getting only 11k in 3dmark06) so im starting from scratch.

Motherboard NEEDS to have 6 Sata ports. and i need room for a wireless PCI card.

I own a Phenom 9600BE, with my tlb disabled, so im into the same question as you...my GPU is lower than yours of course but, i wonder too if my old(?) Agena CPU it's bottlenecking me in any way, the things you want to buy are all really nice things, and i would love to get them all XD but...maybe just for now, wouldn't you just wait a little?? I can feel in the air that AMD it's about to drop a lot of prices, the Phenom 2 X3 series it's THIS close to get de-comissioned so the Phenom 2X4 series will drop in price terms.

What do you think? Patience maybe a good ally this season :)

The only thing I don't like is the 790GX....
Avoid onboard graphics if you don't need it.
It just makes the NorthBridge hotter.

Me like very much.

Seriously, it's a nice build, i think it's a good thing to buy the 940 now, it's slightly cheaper and great bang for buck :) Btw, im trying to get that same MObo with no luck here in Argentina :(

And switch out the 940 for a 925.

That's what i meant when i said :
Patience maybe a good ally this season

I think it's superior in every aspect and plus it allows DDR3 :D
