I use to use Nero 8, but stopped when the newer version 9 became bloated and sluggish.
So, don't really know if 10 improved or got worse.

Depends on what you want to accomplish?

For regular burning, I use ImgBurn or Ashampoo Burning Studio.
You can get the free version of Ashampoo Burning Studio 2010 Advanced, here at Majorgeeks.(Just register to download)

Used to use Nero also but didn't work well in win7 (7, 8 & 9) now i use CDburnerXP
it is free & it works great in Win7 & you can do everything that Nero did...

I've stopped using Nero ages ago, basically ever since it turned into this bloated turd.

If you want a small and good burning software, check these:
Ashampoo Burning Studio Free
BurnAware Free
CDBurnerXP

These are constantly getting updates and they just work great. And they don't have any of the bloat found in Nero.
