So I generally hate upgrading things. I can't tell you how long I played competitive games online with a small 15 inch monitor and it took me forever to get a 21.5 incher and upgrade my specs and such.
Recently, I finally upgraded my keyboard as well. I had a typical Dell keyboard forever and recently got a Razer Blackwidow and I love it. The two days learning how to use it were painful but now I am completely used to it.
So, I've been buying "Microsoft wheel mouse 1.1A opticals" for years now. Literally I've been using this same shitty mouse for like 10+ years. I've gone through at least 5-6 of them. I think it's time to finally upgrade to a new mouse. I don't need something completely unnecessary like a Naga. Honestly left click right click and middle mouse is all I really need.
So my main concerns are, since I've been using such a crappy mouse is my sensitivity going to be affected? What is the best way to transition? I don't really want to have some insanely different sensitivity and have to get used to it and be handicapped in games for a while.
Also, I don't really understand how DPI works or what it is. All I know is that the DPI on these mice is like 400, and the ones on the most common Razer mice can go up to 5.5k~
I've been looking at:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AAS888S/?tag=tec06d-20
But I don't want to have to go through a new sensitivity/drastic change. How can I make it easier to transition?
