All I heard from them is "we are considering", and nothing new since then. Given that it's been a while, I doubt this will be happening

Well i guess its up to the Hex editors here to figure out the area that is controlled by

That's trivial, the problem is the digital signature of the BIOS, ie you have to modify your driver, too, and disable driver signature in Windows etc.
