New Bios for Asus R290?? ,(R9290-4GD5)

There is a new bios for Asus R290 on Asus support site

The problem is while it's posted as new with date 2.18.2014, when i try it update , iget an error that the card doesnt need this update. It looks like bios version is older than the one thats the card already has. But the cards original bios is a few months old ???????

Any idea if this is a new bios , should we be updating with this anyway?

few months old? last time i checked our calendar is still 1st week of march. so bios released were like feb 18, 2014

The card is a few months old, not the new bios from the site.

Ive checked the site. the update is only UEFI vbios. nothing else. UEFI vbios is for ultra fast boot which is a feature found in win 8/8.1. and makes more compatible as well for the secure boot
