After my post here of my IOH PCIE glitch, I changed my voltage to 1.22500 and this is the result:

I would say you are doing well with temps. Is everything else OK?

Snapshot is desktop idle while writing this post and Folding on CPU and GPU. It won't Fold, if it's not stable.

I also got another glitch today that said my cpu fan was at 0% which I know is false (bios set to 60%) so I think there is a bug with Asus Turbo5 overclock utility; which is giving me the warning. I set everything in bios directly.

This setup is new to me as of Dec 2010, so I am still learning as I go.

I did run Intel processor diaganostic tool and got a pass but the test must be run at stock.

The one thing that's maybe an issue is that the cpu cores are not always close in temp and I have no idea if this is normal or not. That range of 39-45c bounces around a bit and may be due to Folding. I did put a razor across the top of the cpu: one direction it was spot on and the other way was slightly off at one edge, very very minor. I have put 2 heatsinks on it: the Zalman 9900nt and now 9900maxblue.

ok guys first remember not all chips are same so not all CPU need same voltages to reach same clocks u have. but those tests guys really gives an issues for overclocking.

ok zed one more click decrease the vcore if it's still same vcore read in cpu-z right now which is 1.265 do one more click in bios, im sure u didn't need more than 2 clicks to decrees one level voltage in full load when run prime and i guess new number will be 1.255 or 1.252, and leave the qpi voltage as u have

Ok Hayder. So you say to leave the qpi @ 1.295 right ? And I'm already @ 1.24375 vcore and it seems stable is that to low ? Why does the qpi voltage stay unchanged ?

Question to hayder.master: My qpi is 1.3875 and was auto set by the bios. Should I look to reduce to 1.295?

sorry for late respond as ZED say im country have crappy internet, ok here is i see is high QPI voltage for those clocks as always intel auto voltage will be higher than it need so always overclockers use manual settings.

ok it should be everything compatible in voltage with i7 systems cuz IMC in cpu so first try as -ZED- voltage sittings and see if u have stable system and i will keep on touch with u.

I lowered QPI to 1.295 and it auto defaulted to 1.300. Started having boot issues. Today on boot got a blank screen no post. Rebooted and got an error message that overclock failed. Increased QPI to 1.325 and I'll see how it behaves.

Just keep increasing it untill its stable again. Should be real close to the right voltage now. Right Hayder ;)
