I just bit the bullet and got a used RTX 2080 that is only described as having some coil whine on full-load, other than that looks pretty much brand new. I'm kind of clenching my butt right now, because these Turing cards don't seem to like running long.
At least it's an EVGA (would be my first). So. Not sure how their support is like in UK.
I don't think the 2080's have the sudden death issue as the 2080ti's so you should be good. EVGA is also good... The 2080 is a sweet card, my friend just got one and it's been "OMFG, I [insert any daily life activity] faster now because of my 2080!"
