I've been eyeing several cases to future-proof the insides of the system as I will eventually do a dual video card setup, 2x raid setups, blu-ray burner, blu-ray player, and a load of fans so I can feel comfortable enough to permanentaly OC my system at 24/7 settings with decent temps. Here are 3 cases that I narrowed my search down to. What do you guys think?

CoolerMaster Cosmos S

Lian-Li Armorsuit

CoolerMaster HAF 922

Edit: Made a mistake on the Lian-Li case, its really PC-P50 :)

all of them are great choices. if you can, i'd look at the HAF 932 or the CoolerMaster 840.

HAF has the best circulation out of those 3 choices and is also the cheapest. The L&L is very vice, but definately not worth how much they want for it. Also, if it's the full tower you want, it's the HAF 932 (the 922 is its little mid-tower brother). I say get the 932, paint the insides black and do a window mod.

I was thinking that I could just saw out the side of that Lian-Li to make a fan fit for a 200/220/240/250, I don't know yet :) , but I like the fact that I have the option to do it whatever size I want. And I don't really wan't those other overly large cases like the 932, I'm sure some of the choices I have aren't so mid-size, but on the other hand, their my choices.

The 922 is overly awesome, and it's only $100 on the Egg now.

Cosmos S is a great case, but comes at a price. Its well ventilated tho with mesh everywhere and a big side fan, three fans at the top, one at the back and one a the front aswell as one at the bottom.

However if your budget is tight, go with the HAF. Lian Li cases are nice and stylish, but can be very very pricey.

Did you want a Mid-Tower or a Full Tower, or are you just looking for a quiet case with good cooling?

Right now, the 2x120mm side fans on my CM 690 case make a bit more noise than bareable whenever not listening to music or gaming, just when I'm surfing or something. I always have them on high, max they can go, I've got the Scythe Slipstreams that do 68.54cfm if I remember correctly at a decent db level, hmm let me check it out on newegg to see if they still have them..runs at 1149 rpm when checked with ASUS Probe.

And I just think with the sound levels on the side panel (I have the computer on the floor directly to my right), I think it would be best to just replace 2 cutouts for the 120s and just one 200mm/220mm/240mm/250mm. This would benefit in terms of cfm and overall quietness since all my other fans do not generate as much noise when in different areas, weird. Maybe the 690 was built a bit cheap, anyone? lol. Well, the reason I want a new case is for it to have preferably with just the equal amount of airflow if not more and for it to be quieter (especially on the side panel) and probably for it to be a more solid build, with minimal plastic if any used in/out of the case.

So, most people are suggesting the HAF 922. I have read many reviews about all 3 cases and I have honestly been impressed with this new case. It was built after the 932 and made with a few modifications that make it more worthwhile at its price point definitely.

There are cheaper ways to fix your issue. Buy a fan controller and just turn those fans off when you are not gaming. You can also try getting some rubber washers or something to help lower vibration.

You can also cut out the built in fan grill which can cause noise because of air getting around a flat surface and replace it with a basic steel, round grill.
