Just for the record, I am getting 23/37c idle/load respectively using the regular H80 on a 20% overclock.

These coolers don't mess around. Very easy install for AMD, quite a bit tougher install for Intel.

Good info, I have an H80 also right now. Runs very well and I have been very pleased with it. Passing it down to my son - H80i is going in my rig as the interface capability has me quite interested :) From a review I was reading, H80i runs about 7c lower under load / overclocked than the H80 but was very close or equal at idle temps.

Non overclocked, the H80 and H80i were pretty much identicle performance wise. So tests so far show the H80i does really awesome with heavy thermal loads. Also I see it ran neck and neck with the H100i under a heavy thermal load.

Some people experienced humming noises from the H80, but mine is so quiet it doesn't sound like the computer is on.

ymmv of course, but this is an excellent introduction to AIO watercooling systems.

Agreed! Both original H80 and H100 were killer for the money. I have had many full blown watercooling setups since the barton days so a quick and easy install was a breath of fresh air for a pc that was not on the extreme side. Since both original designs have the exact same radiators as the i series (with slightly higher flow fans now) it really shows what a difference a better pump and higher overall flow does for the system. Nice to see the progression.

I have had my H80 for a full year now but did have an issue just 2 weeks ago, the built in fan controller kicked the bucket and would no longer respond to temp changes. Corsair took care of the issue and did an advanced RMA (with a CC hold) and it was replaced immediately. Was not a terribly big deal as I found I like the mobo fan control better anyways. Never had an issue with the pump like some reported so I was lucky in that respect :D
