Hi, i previously started a thread to see if anyone has a reference designed XFX HD6870 BE BIOS, so I can flash my recently purchased reference design (single fan) XFX HD6870 card. Unfortunately, as its turned out, the BlackEdition BIOS uses Hynix/Samsung memory, and my xfx HD6870 uses ELPDA memory, so attempting to flash to the BE bios renders the card useless...
I tried using the latest version of AtiRBE to change the clocks to 940/1150 from the current 900/1050 from my 'backup' rom file, and when I boot into windows, i get the common BSOD.
Does anyone know if its possible to mod the values BIOS based and not software based?
I have attached a current copy of my rom
