New forum - Epeen, I mean benchmarking section

Would anyone else like to see a separate section for all the various benchmarking threads? There's like 50 benching threads in 10 different sections. Why not have them all in one spot?

Same, im not super pumped about it. But it would be a place to consolodate, multiple types of benchmarks without clogging up forums that have other pressing discussions maybe.

Even just a sticky thread with links under General Hardware would be fine, to be fair. That way you also don't force mods to move and find a bunch of topics.

Well, need? Naaa.. it seems as of late a newer member has been posting a bunch up so maybe that is what prompted this.

Me, I'd like to see the staff more involved in putting these in the right places if they are not (we should report the threads as we see them) as well as ensuring these make sense. All too often an overzealous and undereducated on the subject user posts these and either it's just a thread with a bunch of results and no clear direction/settings so it's useless to compare, looking for seemingly random things that arent relevant, or just not setup right to be a 'list'. This is where staff and members step in and help shape it into better content.

I suggested another site which focuses on overclocking and benchmarking since this place isnt exactly for the hardcore overclocker, but the post was deleted as low quality, lol. Not sure why really...the truth us the truth. Look at any news thread with sub ambient results and the majority poopoo it as useless. Look at the title for proof...a disparaging "epeen" in it...

Either one forum for all benchmarking, divided into sub-forums by hardware type, e.g. Benchmarks>Processors, Memory, Graphics, etc., or...
a sub-forum for benchmarking in the established forums, e.g. Graphics Cards>Benchmarks, etc.

Would be a lot of work for someone, so probably will not happen. But, it would be a nice feature.
