Take a look at the Logitech G300s- it's nearly perfect for righty's who prefer to use a mouse lefty as long as your hands aren't super-sized (like mine)

Thanks for that. Will have to check it out next time looking for a mouse. I have skinny but long fingers and a wide hand. But that G300 looks really nice (so does the price) and is almost exactly the same size as my MS BlueTrack 5000 I use now, which I really like.

I am not into RGB lighting. The documentation I found says you can change colors, but can you turn them off? I also prefer wireless mice and I don't see a wireless version of the 300.

I have a Logitech V450 Nano I use with my notebook. While relatively small, I like how it feels. And it tracks perfectly on any surface - bluejeans, the arm of my Lazy-boy, carpet, wood grain, and more.

I am not a hard core gamer, but I do often need precision positioning and movement. Both these mice are great for that. I don't think the V450 is available anymore, however.

I switched from A4Tech bloody v3 (looks like 1:1 copy of the deathadder, sturdy though, the metal feet paint wears off quickly depending on the surface) to Rival 100, never looked back. The rival 100 might be cheap, but it makes up for the decent sensor and rgb lighting.

The V3 was just too big and heavy for my hands so it put a lot of strain. I looked at Logitech for alternatives but they were too pricey and heavy as well, there are few exceptions, but the older models are no longer for sale, because Logitech love to discontinue good products.

Rocket Jump Ninja on YT has some decent reviews on mice, you should reeaaally check out those. Helped me choose a mouse pretty fast. I looked for 3 years for a mouse that would fit me, and I chose literally after just watching a few videos.

Yeah, there are more zones on that G300S but it is probably safe to assume they all can be disabled. Thanks.

I loaded the Logitech software and it's confirmed- you can turn off the lighting. Note that the only lighting is that splash on the sides and it isn't very annoying.

This one is similar- looks like just about everything is programmable on the G300s
