I GOT IT FIXED YAY! I just had to push the card in MUCH harder, i mean MUCH harder. I though the card was going to snap. But then. DING and the card went in properly. YAY ME!:) my bro will be really happy.

So it was not seated into the AGP slot all the way ?!? :laugh:

My 9800 Pro would halt the mobo post and display onscreen that the power connector wasn't plugged in.

try to clean the golden points of the card with the eraser and make sure there is no dust inside the agp slot or carbon accumulation inside that u may want to try it with another psu if u have in spare or u can borrow from ur personal dealer or get the whole thing checked in a nearby computer store where they have lots of spares to pinpoint the problem and if all dosent help do inform ur dealer and get ready to rma the whole thing because u didnt pay money for a stupid piece of plastic and metal that didnt work did u ?..... if u bought it from local dealer tell him if he can assist u to rma it pray that the replacement card comes fast enough and works properly i hope this helps.
