yes the patch did work I got way past where I had problems before and not a glitch or lag it is a pleasure to play now and there is an improvement from the 6970 card. I had a hard job finding the patch it came in a rar or you could get it in a zip another folder came with it called crack but I just ignored that and installed the patch the same way you would install any other patch and job done. The only other problem I find the fans need turned up what is a good easy program to do that.
