New High end gaming build. Few questions for yall

Recently decided I was going to build myself a high end gaming pc with the possibility of doing some 3d modeling/rendering.

All of the parts are already ordered and on the way..they are as follows:

Case : Cooler Master Storm Stryker

Motherboard : MSI z97 gaming 7

CPU : Intel Core i7 4790k Haswell Quad Core 4.0 Ghz LGA 1150

GPUs : Dual Sapphire Tri-X OC R9 290x 4GB running in crossfire

Memory : Crucial Ballistix Sport 16 GB (2x 8gb) DDR3 Sdram (1600mhz)

SSD : Crucial M500 2.5" 240GB Sata 3 MLC Internal SSD

HDD : Western Digital Blue 1TB 7200 rpm 64MB Cache 6 GB/s

PSU : Seasonic M1211 850 SS-850AM 850 Watt ATX12v / EPS12v Sli Ready PLUS BRONZE cert Full Modular

Keyboard/Mouse : Razer DeathStalker/Razer Deathadder

Moniter : Asus VG248QE Black 144hz 1ms (GtG) HDMI Widescreen Led Backlight LCD 3d Moniter

Optical Drive : for the moment just a decent dvd rom.



My Questions are as follows :

With my setup, is the stock cooling with the case/ stock cpu heatsink/fan going to be enough until I can afford to put a custom liquid cooling loop in?

If not what am I going to need to do to prevent overheating issues?

I was told by multiple places that the powersupply I ordered should be fine..would like to get a second opinion from yall.

The stock heatsink is usually fine for cooling a non-overclocked CPU, however they can be comparatively noisier compared to aftermarket heatsinks. If you are worried about cooling or acoustics, then you could get a CM Hyper 212 which provides great performance at a reasonably low price (~$30), which can suffice until you get this custom cooling loop. But in reality, you shouldn't really have any overheating issues in that case with the stock heatsink. In terms of the power supply, Seasonic make among the best power supplies on the market, and the 80+ Bronze is perfectly acceptable. I would've been tempted to have got an 80+ Gold in this case, but 850W should be enough wattage for your dual 290x Crossfire. I might be wrong.

You are not. 750W Bronze is capable of running xfire/sli (In truth, a good quality 650W could run 290/780's in SLI), 850W is a good overhead for any additional hardware and overclocking.

Your rig is going to be a beast!

That PSU is fine for your rig and Seasonic is an excellent choice.

I'm biased against stock coolers because I see them as cheap but it will work fine if you don't plan on overclocking until you get your water setup later.

Since you're going to be using this rig for gaming I would step up to a 2 TB WD drive. Games are getting really big for whatever reason and you will probably fill that 1 TB drive within a year or two.

SeaSonic being a very high quality brand, it will provide clean power for those two R9-290 GPUs.
The cooling shouldn't be an issue if you don't overclock anything.
