Long overdue upgrade! For dev work and gaming. AMD cpu was a no-brainer it seems and vega 64 ( would prefer a nitro+ but they're nowhere to be seen at a decent price) seems like the best deal because of the price of a 1440p 144hz monitor, £120 cheaper to go freesync - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-XF270HUAbmiidprzx-FreeSync-ZeroFrame-Adjustable/dp/B01IHFIVQ4/

Not sure if I need an aftermarket cooler except for aesthetics (tempted by NZXT AIO).. the one that comes with ryzen 7 seems pretty good. any thoughts before I pull the trigger? I've only bought the monitor so far because quite frankly fuck NVIDIA's pricing strategy
