The Ultra-D doesn't support SLI though, unless you want to do the pencil mod. The expert is called expert because it requires you to be one in order to get it going. I'd suggest doing a lot of reading on DFI-Street.com before getting a DFI board. The regular SLI-DR is a good choice. Another thing is when you start a thread like this, giving a price range would be helpful.:)

Well the SLI-DR Expert is $200 if you think you can handle it. I'm not trying to say you can't or anything, just DFI boards are really REALLY picky. I would just go with the regular SLI-DR which is about $160-$170.

since your current board is a ATI based ECS, i would guess that 200 or even 160 might be a bit steep for you, if you want a cheaper alternative, have a look at the 939Dual-SATA2 from asrock, its a good solid board, and it overclocks well if you decide to solder a couple of points on it,

just as a note for the rest of you, not everyone buys 200 buck boards, recommending a 200 dollar DFI to someone who currently owns a ECS board which probobly retails under 80 bucks is a bit over the hill, isnt it ? you dont need to spend 200 bucks on a board for the machine to run well, actually, you spend 200 bucks for a board when you want to do stuff to it that will probobly make it run like Shaite in 6-9 months,
