hey gguys i customised new pc and i need ur advice about it
my budget is 1620$ and the current build cost exactly the price but i dont know if the power supply is enough so im gonna need ur advice

processor : core i7 920 2.6 ghz 8 mb
generic cpu cooler for s1366
mother board : Asus 6pt se s1366 core i7
memory : DDR3 1600 ‏2x2GB G.Skill ECO Edition Dual Channel
hard disk : Hitachi desk star 500 Gb 7200 rpm 32 mb SATA 2
vedeo card : Asus HD radeon 5830 1gb GDDR5 DX11
sound card : on board 7.1 channel audio
disk+DVD : LG DVD+RW GH22LS50
chasis : cooler master 932 haf 932
power supply : OCZ Gmaexstream 600W

so what do u think ?
any replacements improvements ? more supply just tell me

For this build you would need 3x2gb ddr3 ram to run in triple channel.

you should go with a 5850 reference card instead of 5830

change that 600W PSU to a Corsair 750TX

Are you in the US? Where are you buying your parts? There are certainly improvements to be made. First, if you are going with an i7, you really want a 6GB triple channel kit. Second, if you ever plan on overclocking, you really want an after market cooler. Yes, that PSU will be fine, though there are better options.

what other improvements do u suggest ? + yes the Asus have a OC program with them so i will overclock but not too much ill OC memory card from 800 to 900 and from 1000 mhz to 1150-1200 but i never OC anything before so i need your opinion about that plz

the power supply option here is seasonic x power supply 750W which will cost me another 54 $

Cooler: generic cpu cooler for s1366 Change this even if you're not OCing, it will run cooler
Memory: DDR3 1600 ‏2x2GB G.Skill ECO Edition Dual Channel Triple Channel to get the most out of the 920
Power Supply : OCZ Gmaexstream 600W You should be fine but a 750W would be recommended in the event that you add another video card

You shouldn't be limited to 50 bucks for PSU if your PC is going to cost 1500.

Is that seasonic new? Maybe I'm misreading. If you mean adding on 50 bucks, that PSU is a very good unit, maybe a bit pricey depending on where you're coming from.

Anything to dump an OCZ PSU. They're going downhill lately.

With that info, the members here will do some shopping for you and see if they cant build you the rig cheaper, or with more bang for your buck.

Hmmm, what are you going to use this computer for? If you are gaming, then a i5 750 is more than enough, or perhaps consider a Phenom II 965BE. Seasonic power supplies are good.

the only reason we say something about the mem is he can go triple channel with the 920 and get alittle more out of it.

you chose speedy system, but there is something important missing which is fast read from disk, so that's mean 2 HDD's in raid 0 or one SSD with HDD

Do not get the HD5830, try to get the HD5850 if you can bru and OC it like hell.

its going to be running on windows 7
my bro will buy me a 2gb memory like1-2 month later so its not a prob
what i did is replace some parts just to reduce the cost a bit :

power supply : seasonic 750w ss-750km x-750 retail to seasonic M12D 750,750w which saves 23$
and from artic cooling freezer 7 pro rev 2 to artic cooling freezer 7 cp which saves 14$
but the parts are still good i think

the thing about the disk i didnt understand very well
but in this cooler master its so easy to add new hard disk so this also i can put a bit later if u think it can wait
