New photos of the moon featuring tracks and trash

WASHINGTON (AP) — A spacecraft circling the moon has snapped the sharpest photos ever of the tracks and trash left behind by Apollo astronauts in their visits from 1969 to 1972.

Images taken by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter from 13 to 15 miles up show the astronauts' paths when they walked on the moon, as well as ruts left by a moon buggy. Experts could even identify the backpacks astronauts pitched out of their lunar landers before they returned to Earth.

Nah man. It was a bunch of little robots. They used ones like those little windup feet toys to leave the tracks.

All those people have moved on to the 9/11 stuff at this point. Though there's still the casual disbelievers cause of that old fox special.

I find it hard to believe the tracks are still there in pristine condition like that. I cant make out anything it looks like dots to me lol.

After 40 years there does not seem to be much moon dust covering the manmade trails. It probably will take about 10 million to 100 million years for dust to cover them, Robinson said.

I know f' all about the moon or solar conditions; well i just searched and when speaking of moon craters there are "fewer environmental and atmospheric processes to erode and eventually destroy them" compared to the earth.

I still cant make anything out in the pictures blobs to me mean nothing although this does not mean i am saying there is nothing, all i am saying is i cant make anything out which doesn't necessarily mean anything because there probably is lots of stuff if other people can see said stuff.

I don't know or care if someone landed on our moon, consider me agnostic.
