Since I intend to buy a new graphics card, possibly GTX460 SLI or HD6870 CF, I want to replace my old power supply that does not support the use of two graphics cards. Initially, I wanted to buy a 800W power supply which have sufficient connectors for dual graphics card configurations. But it turns out Thermaltake has a product specifically designed to supply power for graphics cards, ToughPower Express series.

According to all of you, which is better, buying a regular 800W power supply or ToughPower Express 650W?

In my opinion, get a good beefy brand name psu that is quality. When it comes to psu's it's better to over shoot than under shoot.

I would recommend the Corsair 850, yes it's over kill for what you need, but it's quality brand name and will future proof you if you ever decide to get newer and more demanding cards.

Get a nice Corsair PSU with a single 12v rail. No need to have multiple power supplies.

Depends on how many amps you have on it imo.

Get a Corsair HX-xxx and be done with it!
7 year warranty with some of them...

Get a single rail PSU, its a better option for multi gpu setup.
