Now this feels much more like a launching platform than the original dull version. At the same time this is very likely going to shape up to be a new interactive social platform.

On a side note, it is super awesome to play the Left 4 Dead 2 Dark Carnivore Shooting Gallary in VR. Well without the zombies of course. I gotta say shooting with your fingers pulling trigger and aiming is A LOT HARDER than shooting on monitor with mouse.

It's nice. I've only had mine for a few days, so i don't know what the previous looked like.

Very very dry and dull. Nothing to see and nothing to do. You use menu button to open up steam vr main page and that was it.

I don't know man. I've switched back to the old style with my Gotham City background. I may give Home another go, but I really enjoy the Gotham City background.. hehe

I am using Rick n Morty Steam Home now. Pretty neat stuff now I can decroate the SteamVR home as I want. From the direction it is going Valve will allow friends to visit others' SteamVR Home quite literally.

On a different note, I bought around 600 dollars worth of VR game. lol

    Champ and Mindweaver say thanks.

I was just using the default home and I didn't see the appeal, but using other homes interests me. That's the biggest thing I like about the backgrounds was using different ones. I'm using all Batman theme now. I even have my Light houses looking like the bat signal... lol I'll have to give it another go tonight, and try the Rick n Morty steam Home. How are you playing "Left 4 Dead 2 Dark Carnivore Shooting Gallary in VR" in VR?

Ive not been fond of Steams VR home. It doesn't compare to oculus that is for sure. I'm speaking of the old steam version. I have not tried the new one but look forward to it.

Yep! Tried that first thing after the new Steam home update. Man my hands were sore afterwards. Without an automatic weapon it was hard AF. I am planning to try again with two drones instead of using the laser zapper.

    Original L4D2:

And this part was made into VR. Instead of shooting with keyboard and mouse, you use the wand controller. Kinda sucks because it is not automatic. I can't find any video since nobody seems to have recorded this yet.

    Mindweaver says thanks.
