It's been awhile since my last post but check in daily to see what's going on. I will be putting together a complete new build shortly and would like some input/criticisms:

Lian Li PC-A10B Case Black -
Would like some feedback, I like the Lian Li stylish looks but am not too familiar, good product though I know. Need the most stylish case with water cooling head room.

ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 Motherboard

Intel Core i7 920

Corsair HX-1000W 1000W Power Supply

Corsair TR3X6G1600C8D 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 -
Any other recommendations?

OCZ Vertex Series SATA II 2.5" SSD 60GB -
Used for OS only

Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB WD1001FALS -
Storage

Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 CPU Cooler -
Until I decide to water cool again, if I do.

Palit GeForce GTX275 or PowerColor Radeon HD4890 - Need some input, not familiar with AMD but they are looking good also at a reasonable price.

It looks good to me. If I was building I would trim the fat in some areas (power supply for example, a good 850Watt might only cost around half the price) just to get a lot of graphics card power.

850w will be enough I know but I've got the cash at the moment, will give some consideration. Main problem is though is the case and GF card selection.

I was thinking crossfire down the track, I have pretty much water cooled all my GFx cards in the past but for maintenance effort, its not worth it. Taken on board!

Take a look at the Cooler Master HAF 932 Case. It's big and heavy, but it offers excellent air flow and cable management.

A 1000W is overkill for a single video card setup. Normally, I would say that 650W would be more than enough. However, I saw on NewEgg yesterday that they had an 850W Corsair unit for about $120.

The Noctua cooler is quite large -- double check that it's compatible with your motherboard. Also, consider the TRUE-1366. It performs almost as well as the Noctua, but only requires one fan, is a bit more compact, and is a little easier to install.

I agree 1000w is overkill but to me the PSU is the most important part and again down the track I may intend to (more than likely as I can't help myself) go complete water cooling again. I will more that definately water cool the CPU though. The Corsair 850w should be ample though.

Sorry for the double post. I'm not sure whether Australia sells the corsai SSD's. DFI I'm not sure of, not saying they're bad as alot of people recommend them but I am not familiar with their BIOS etc. I've had luck with ASUS and am not looking for an extreme overclocking machine just a good board to puch up the herbs a little on the i920.

Obviously you don't have a problem with 1000w PSU's LOL. I am still tossing up which Lian Li case to buy though as I like there subdued looks, not too fancy and flashy but enough to say 'that is a bloody nice case you got there, can I borrow it?'
