i realize this should be a rather simple thing to do on any ATI card but im talking about the 3870x2 here. i have heard about some way to OC the x2 (other than CCC/overdrive) but i have yet to find anything that works. ati tool doesn't recognize the card being in my machine at all. ati tray tools doesn't work either. i know there are a few other people on here that have X2's so maybe they can help? im really trying to find out how to adjust the fan speed. these cards run pretty hot and i'd like to cool them down a bit until i get my EK waterblocks.

At the moment there is no public overclocking software available other than what Overdrive in Catalyst Control Center offers. For our testing we used a combination of ATITool, 3DMark and internal AMD overclocking software. Both cards were set to the same clocks which is the recommended way to achieve optimum performance.
