WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's really really fast, top score here at TPU is 10.906 sec, but that's without nitrogen, im pretty sure at least.

Actually the world record is not beaten yet. onepagebook(the overclocker) did 8.91 sec with his Core 2 X6800@5550mhz

Does SuperPI scale on a server mainboard? ie. two or four x Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® 5355 processors (2.66 @1333, 8mb cache). I might be convinced to buy a server mainb. and some clovertowns just for the bragging. LOL.

hahaha, unfortuantly super pi only uses one core you could have the world record for like 16 super pi's at once

well, as long as you're not running anything else that is processor intensive, now if you were playing some songs, running a virus scan, putting in some folding@home work, then you'd see a difference between quad core and dual core. the difference between dual core and single core is probably more noticable, because with single core, the operating system's processes have to use the same core, while with a dual core cpu, it can use the other core.

Ah yes, I see that superpi is single threaded. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_PI. Shame
