Personally the OP has all the information needed to hook up his ARV you CAN use RCA you can use Fiber optic cable and you can also use HDMI. it's just a matter of how you choose to do it they will ALL work within there operational parameters and you can trust YOUR ARV's OSD as to what the setting is your AVR has a decoder built right into it.
Bet this gets closed to many trolls.
