Personally, yes I think it's worth the upgrade. PVT, my system was almost the same as yours and I am very happy with the upgrade. You already have the ram and mobo, so the chip wouldn't cost much.

Ahhh If you already have a am2 at 90nm it sure is not worth an upgrade.

i'll only upgrade if I see its clock for clock faster than its 90nm am2 x2 counterpart by around 15-20% at least or of course if it clocks at least 15-20% higher.

I am sticking with my trusty 939 at the mo and am soon going to order a Opty 185, just waiting for my 1800XT warranty refund and then its all systems go, looking at a total system upgrade late summer/early autumn I fink, not sure whether I am gonna stray to the darkside or stick with AMD.

Having said that, those Brisbanes look nice and are well priced, in a few weeks they will be really reasonable and a 700Mhz overclock on nice low volts cant be bad! I would be inclined to hit her with 1.5V and watch her race! But then I fry more systems than eggs!
