I didn't think the 9600GT was that great of a folder due to only having 64 shaders, but they are definitely damn fine gaming cards, especially at that price.

Dedicated physx card
It would work, but it's a little big for that, and with it only really working well under XP, it's kinda a dead concept.. :(

I have a 9600GT I use for physx, works great. Physx works under XP, Vista and Windows 7 without a problem. The only issue is using ATI for main GPU and nvidia for physx. You have to use XP or Windows 7 because of an OS limitation with Vista that only allows for one GPU driver to be installed.

Mirror's Edge performance was way up with a dedicated GPU. My main GPU is a very overclocked GTX 280. Many sites have found the 9600GT to be the sweet spot for PhysX performance to price ratio. I paid $100 for mine so for $67 this is an exceptional deal - especially considering there are ~600 games coming this year with PhysX support :)

The last open box mobo was a dud, but that has been the first bad open box unit I've bought from Newegg, and I've bought alot.
