I don't know too much about Newegg seeing as I am a Brit but it seems that most from the US tend to use them for their components.

I have my eye on a 7900GT and the particular one i am interested in is linked below:

This card comes in about £60 or $100 US cheaper in the US from newegg than I can get it in the UK. As it happens, next week I am on holiday in Florida for 2 weeks staying at a Villa Near Orlando, so I have a couple of questions:

Could I order the card on-line whislt I am out there and get the card shipped to my Florida Holiday address and if so, would it be a problem if the delivery address (in Florida) was not the same as my Visa credit cards Address (UK of course), I only ask because many online retailers in the UK will only deliver to the address the credit card is registered to but I am not sure if its the same in the US or when you order by credit card will they deliver to whatever address you put?

Grateful for any advice.

You can have different billing/shipping address.

Thanks Wazzle, so you don't think they will get twitchy at a UK billing address but a US shipping address? Well I spose it does not hurt, the worst that can happen is that they reject the order I suppose, worth a try.

you can have different billing shipping address. just be warned it might take longer than usual to clear your card. i did the same thing when i was in france (ordered something to a vacation addy using my CC from US) and the verification took 15 min or so! but it worked great, and there was no need to convert currency, my bank does it all!

jsut don't hit the final pay button twice!! sometiems you'll get charged twice

If you are visiting someone here in the US just have them order it and take the money out for the purchase and pay them, of course this will only work with someone you trust implicitly, but it will save you the hassle of the order being rejected cause the card is UK. Most major banks can give you cash from your credit card as long as you have the proper ID, I am not sure how the currency conversion works but I would think the bank can handle this especially in a place that has alot of tourism. There is a downside if you don't pay it back quickly, the interest on cash advances off credit cards are usually pretty high.
