NFS: Undercover Patch realeased

After reading that, it feels kinda odd. The author gives the image of more upcoming patches... he even said:

Going forward, we want to engage the community for your feedback on the game and try to address any and all comments that you have. Thanks for all the great questions relating to the 1st patch…I apologize if I wasn’t able to answer your question directly but we tried to group the questions into themes and I think the answers above addressed the majority of the questions and/or concerns that you had.

There is just so MUCH to work on this game... Is it even worth a shot? I have a feeling that the patches could be HUGE in size...

Be nice if they adjusted top speeds so the veyron could hit 407 kmph

I played this for maybe a week and uninstalled it. Maybe I'll reinstall depending on how much the patch fixes this PoS.

A whole week? I got 10 mins before I had to remove it.

I'm glad they are still patching it for you guys... do you really get passed by SUVs at top speed? :wtf:

My cousin egged me on cause he was much further than me but I couldn't stand getting passed by cops all the time. I went back to playing Carbon and Most Wanted.

Im not going to lie. that is one thing that really irritates me about the NFS games with cops. how the hell can those cops even keep up with you. (especially in undercover,SUV's :mad:

)
I could understand if they could stay close while your in the city or whatever but when im doing 230mph on the freeway and a suv cop flies by me doing like 300mph that just make me laugh and say "oh really" :ohwell:

I got some registry / INI error but the Patch installed. Maybe I will do a fresh install and try it again. So far I could see some effects though.

-Veyron was quite fun now. Could do fast 180 / 360 spins and frame rate had increased.
-GPS map works more fluid
-Frame rate still drops at the same places.
-Still got that annoying flickering when driving near the sea / lakes. The water surface keeps flickering.
-Car has no moving shadow, only stationary dark spot under the car

I played about an hour or so and SUV's didn't come close to my Veyron at full speed. One thing I haven't seen before, was the police cars flying in the air when driving through roadblocks. Also the police chases did feel a bit different.

About the frame rate... Now I got annoying long (1-5 sec) stops in game, music keeps playing, car sound starts to loop and then the game continues again.

The other problem I got was in the "garage". When I tried to choose a car it wouldn't access the garage, when hitting enter, the accessing sound played but nothing happened. This hasn't happen before.

One time when I was fiddling with AA settings, I changed it to x4 and the game did look very different. Motion blur was gone, AA seemed to work better. Colors were different, maybe a bit more bluish. I would say it looked more real. Frame rate got quite a hit there.

The shadows seemed to stay on their positions, not moving around like before. Also it seemed that they had some minor fixes on the shadows looks...
