I just recently powered up my gaming life by getting a Nintendo Switch Lite. I had been without a game system for quite awhile other than my computer which is starting to show its age. My first Switch game is Pokémon Sword. It is. So cool.

lulz shields.. i think the lite is half the price, i just bought two switches with non patched serials.

Do you have a link to the matrix with the patched and non-patched serials? I came across it like 2 weeks ago but never book marked it.

Patched means it can't be homebrewed currently - and homebrew allows emulators and such to be installed on it.

I have successfully modded my old switch back last years, you can pirate games, and get nice emulator to pass time on, yea ps1 are the best game and its very cool to play ps1 game for me on portable (you can play on phone too, but thats not the same things).
You also lose multiplayer gaming If you dont do emunand, I didnt care about multiplayer so I am fine, but piracy is bad, I ended just downloading a lot of shit and just playing them for 1-2 days then not playing them anymore...I learned that If you got all game you want, you gonna not play them....I encourage you to buy all the game, you will play them more!

IMO even more useless than the most useless console ever. In conclusion just a Nintendo branded tablet with several years old hardware.

Yeah, their own franchises, so I guess if that's your thing, then I guess.. I dislike almost every of those after SNES.

Yeah, their own franchises, so I guess if that's your thing, then I guess.. I dislike almost every of those after SNES.
You talk about nintendo like that, until you dont try them, nintendo has the best exclusive forever, they're on another planet where sony and microsoft are, the point of their games is gameplay, not graphics. If on PC you have a lot of games to play and you choose what to play, on console the games is limited and you will get like forced playing some games, that sincerely most of them for the gameplay experience suck a lot games on PS/Xbox they're like movie I like playing not watching a movie, on switch they have a direct point of make games, and they do them good. I dont like most of console exclusives even from ps3 and xbox 360 where people claim as best console ever, at that time I was sticking with my Gamecube and my PS1 and my PC, never had necessary to buy a ps3 or xbox360, simple cause I didnt like their exclusives, Gamecube is fairly superior.

On portable the game experience is way different, I can play TW3/Dark Souls on the go or from my bed/bathroom and I enjoy that a lot even better than from my pc at max settings, on my pc I play nearly only fps multiplayer games or Sim like Project Cars, cause every other game annoye me... On my switch I play a lot of single player games and they dont annoye me.

Also the Switch is the best for playing with friends we played a lot on mario kart and CRT on 4 players mode, If I had to set up that on my pc that would had taken hours, Its just simple and plug and play, thats why I like that.

I didnt liked and never buyed nintendo Wii or WiiU but the best console from the last two decade for me are Gamecube and Switch, I really enjoy their game on this compared tho wii games, switch is definitely superior for quality of games to wii : Smash Bros, Odyssey, Pokèmon, Luigi's Mansion, Zelda and recently Im playing their japanese things like Astral Chain and Daemon X Machina theyre all nice game! There emulators on pc and now in 2020 If you got a good pc you can play some of this games at 15/20fps using a 9900k and 2080ti, but you lose the easy of what the switch have, you just take in hand and play, no things to do, nothing.. same for dock, you plug that on the dock and youre ready to play. And thats why I bought that, I had to say that If I wasnt able to play on portable I would not had buyied this console but had stick with my dolphin emulator for smash bros melee

And on the Switch Lite I didnt like the fact you cant use that on TV, thats a shame, why not just make a dock for the lite too? Some friend got in my hand a Lite and if feel very confortable in size, nice console, but I'd stick with my old first gen switch and keeping the dock-able feature, also you can't mod that for now, and till now for me is pass.

I know a lot of people with that mindset, but have you tried any of the Nintendo exclusive since the SNES? Though i'm not huge fan of Mario or Zelda but their other exclusives are fantastic and worth playing if you can justify buying the system.
The same can be said for the PS4 and..the disappointing Xbone, there is a thread somewhere where i've listed all the great 1st party exclusives on PS4 which makes it worth buying the system alone to try those games out if you're a big gamer.
The Nintendo lineup has always been a hit and miss for me, I bought mine few years back as a christmas gift for myself so I can play games while i'm at the GFs house and of course I bought it to play Pokemon, Bayonetta 3 (whenever that gets release) and any other future exclusive titles that may peak my interest.

There won't be a dock for Switch Lite because it's missing the hardware chip responsible for video output to external device.

From the arch standpoint - it's doable and does not require any "chips". Tegra X2 has multi-display output, including eDP and MIPI-DSI for internal display, and HDMI+DP for external. All it needs is some PCB tracks and HDMI conn. Doesn't even require a level shifter on the output side. It also supports G-Sync, if I remember correctly.

IMO even more useless than the most useless console ever. In conclusion just a Nintendo branded tablet with several years old hardware.
Also, custom OS, and a large ecosystem. Old doesn't make it bad - nearly all Nintendo consoles were a couple of generations behind in terms of HW, but it's all about the fun factor.
Plus, Lite is the cheapest portable on the market with adequate capabilities.

Though they could do that but really the Switch lite has no reason to exist if you could output it to TV as it would then just be like the normal Switch and vice versa.
This is Nintendo, their business model has always been different to other companies and still be a success, they know who their target audience are and will promote/release products that will cater it.
Though they can definitely learn from their competition in improving their online service, despite being the "cheapest" compared to their competitors right now, the family plan is really good though if you have group of 8 friends you can practically get 1-year Nintendo online for £4/$5/4.70 euros per person or just any number of friends split between you and others.
The switch home menu kinda reminds me of the PS4 but not as much customisation.

Some friend got in my hand a Lite and if feel very confortable in size, nice console, but I'd stick with my old first gen switch and keeping the dock-able feature, also you can't mod that for now, and till now for me is pass.
you play alot of games in the bathroom? ;) i agree tho has a great lineup
