No discreet Video Card Found???

I am a complete novice to the overclocking world. I just recently bought x850pro in hope of overclocking it to x850xt. I downloaded ati winflash but whenever i double click it it says "no discreet ati video card found".

Can somebody help me. Additionally i would appreciate a walk through of unlocking 16 pipelines but i do not intend to overclock the stock speeds. I would appreciate any help

unfortunately you can´t flash the card while it´s being utilized by windows.... so you either need to flash the card in DOS mode or you´ll need a second gfx card.

also, whether the pipes on your card can be unlocked or not depends on its fuses data (use ATITool --> settings to check, maybe post a screenshot).

how can i provide you with screen shots

when in windows to do a screenshot you hit the print screen button normally next to F12 and then you go to paint and press control + V and then file save as

dude i know that; i want to ask that in the ati tool, which portion i should go to get the screen shot and how.

you forgot to mention that i have to hold down the shift key....there are all F's. Hoha Jackpot.

ehm, i´m using ver 0.25.... hit settings button, everything there... sry for that.

again, the card you want to flash MUST NOT be in use by windows, so if you want to use winflash, you´ll need another gfx card to run windows with, while flashing your X850 with winflash. operating in DOS mode is much easier, take a peek at the walkthrough above (1st link).

I was able to flash my card to open the designated 16 pipelines and i must say that there is a definate improvement.
