Ok I need a big favor, go back into gpu-z, click the black arrow next to the uefi check box, try to upload the bios through the program to the VGA Bios Collection/Database, you should get prompted that the bios is already in the collection/database with a link to the file, copy and paste that link here please, I need to know which chip your card is using specifically, to avoid a brick/undesired effect.

I Do not know if it's usefull to you but this card is a mini package: PCB is very compact compared to other cards.
Here's a pic of it (sorry for bad quality):

Thank you for helping.

This will be fun but do able

Ok This is I would say the closest bios that I can find that is newer.
These all are GP106

It's Zotac but its got your memory and all ports specified plus its a Mini like your card.

Here is an Elsa bios as well

Caution these last 3 have higher clocks

Manli/Nvidia

Another Inno3D

Follow this video to flash.

This is the most I can do, there seems to be nothing newer than 2017 with your port config.

You may consider reaching out to Nvidia and Inno3D as well

I tried to flash bios according to the video. Nvflash would only allow Zotac one. And now I have blackscreen. I did backup the old one. What should I do? Hope it's not bricked.

Edit: Not bricked. I changed port and I could have a signal. Still no MB BIOS display using DP.
I revert it to original BIOS. Original port is back alive.

Yes, the CSM setting can certainly cause strangeness with some cards when it's disabled.

For example, my old GTX 970 will not output over Displayport unless CSM is enabled (but it does output via HDMI). Each time I update my BIOS and the settings are reset, I need to switch outputs until I enable it in the BIOS again. I also have a SATA controller card which does not display its settings screen at bootup (or allow you to enter the mini-BIOS/firmware) unless CSM is enabled.

Ok I'll try that next if I have the option UEFI with CSM Under BIOS.

Yeah the port config must of been different. Thats the only drawback about doing crossflashing.

I have no option to enable CSM alongside UEFI sadly. I checked it my MB doesn't have the option. It's either CSM or UEFI.

My Asus TUF 990FX Sabertooth R2.0 doesnt have the option its either CSM enabled or Disabled. You might say UEFI isnt disabled when CSM is enabled, so CSM is a Subset of UEFI, Hence Command Support Module

Have you attempted the other files?

I'll try CSM then.

Only zotac file didn't send errors (ID mismatch if I remember correctly) through nvflash. I tried with the versions of nvflash you provided.

Thanks i'll look into it tomorrow.

Edit:
I got back in the BIOS this morning and searched for CSM mention and I found 2 things:
-Under BOOT tab: Boot mode [LEGACY+UEFI] which I thought translate in CSM + UEFI. I left it as is.
-Under OS CONFIGURATION SUBMENU [UEFI] that I switched to CSM.

After a reboot DP is displaying BIOS again. The ugly, half bugged MSI splash screen is back too. I think my issue is solved. I just hope that going back to CSM for OS Configuration is fine. Switching the setting made the secure boot option unavailable.

Yeah, the functionality of the CSM is going to be entirely dependent on how the boardmaker implemented it in the BIOS, and they seem to be very inconsistent (often even between boards from the same manufacturer). You can play around with the settings a bit more, but not having Secure Boot shouldn't be a big deal unless you're planning to run Windows 11 soon.

If your Displayports work when inside Windows, you could also just.....disable CSM and go back to how you were running, unless no display during boot bothers you (I'm sure it's a PITA when you need to go into the BIOS, but that shouldn't be often).

The good news is that whenever you decide to upgrade your GPU, it will no longer be an issue with the newer card.

I'm in no hurry going to W11. My MB is not compatible anyway as says microsoft health report.
Is secure boot important for a casual user like me? Only thing I need to boot to is windows install media when i do a clean install.
And for sure I don't plan to go so often in the BIOS now that everything is configured. I can always go to the BIOS using the TV on HDMI, i just have to unplug the monitor.

Anyway thanks a lot to everyone of you.

I just saw another tool at nvidia addressing the same problem,

NVIDIA GPU Firmware Update Tool for DisplayID

It mentions applicable to RTX 30 series , indicating it is fairly recent.
But no mentioning if it will work on 10 or 20 series GPU's.

It is a newer version of the tool that i had previously posted a link to.

I stumbled across this possible solution:

Blank screen after switch to UEFI boot (solved)

I have witnessed multiple times the same effect of the POST screen not displaying after a GPU change , which struck me as odd because the GPU's were of the same architecture/generation.
This effect started a while ago. It made me wonder if it was due to some microcode or firmware update that happened which I was unaware about.

This morning I decided to update the bios of my MSI B350 Tomahawk to the latest version. Got it from MSI website and followed the normal procedure. Percentage got to 100% and PC rebooted. I immediately spammed DEL to enter bios in order to reconfigure it right away. No signal on the monitor is shown.

I think you must never do this ever again because you could brick your board. Always wait for the complete new BIOS installation and then press anything.
I suspect that you interrupted the new BIOS installation procedure when it wasn't ready.

Showing 100% before rebooting doesn't mean it's ready.

Up!
I tried entering bios by spamming del blind.

If I remember correct HDMI is primary display no matter if VGA, DVI or DP is connected.

Not sure if it's hardware but I seen it before the moment you disconnect HDMI boom any of the other displays have boot up, bios screen and such.

EVGA FAQ - What's the priority for the output ports on my EVGA graphics card (or Why is my BIOS showing on the wrong monitor)?

The majority of our graphics cards have several display outputs available for use. When configuring their system, many people like to make sure that the BIOS boots up on a specific monitor and/or want to make sure their monitors are connected in the correct order. This can often simplify configuration in Windows.

Generally speaking, the port priority on the cards is set by firmware and cannot be modified by the end-user. Moreover, this port priority may change, depending on whether your motherboard is configured to run in UEFI or Legacy mode. Where possible, we indicate the priority order below.

I confirm that I have the same problem. I recently updated the bios on my msi b350 mortar to replace the 1700 with a 5600. I have a gtx1070. Now I can only see the login screen when turning the pc on. Swapping from a dp to an hdmi cable solves the problem, so I guess I will do that every time I have to enter the bios. This is a beta bios so some problems are possible.
