Recently i installed a new GPU (HD 5770) after the previous (GTX 460 SE V2) died.
After starting up the pc i noticed that the Optical SPDIF light is off. There was no sound coming and windows only showed digital output.I should mention that I don't use digital output.
Despite everything I did I couldn`t get sound back on.
This is what I tried:
Removed GPU and used IGPU
Reinstalled realtek driver.
Disabled and , after a restart, enabled the onboard sound from BIOS.
Removed all the audio devices drivers, and reinstalled the drivers.
I have attached a nfo with all system info (just change extension)
Any ideas before I go and buy some awful usb sound card?
Edit : I also did a bios reset.Sorry I forgot.
