i recently got a new case. so i placed everything i had into the new case. now that i boot windows vista up, theres no sound. before there was sound when i had the old case. i use the onboard sound of the asus p5n32-sli se deluxe mobo.

    i checked:
onboard sound is enabled in the bios.
volume is up to the max.
    connections are correct.
    sound device is enabled.
    reseted the cmos.
    driver was reinstalled.
tested the device (i can see the volume meter go up and down which indicates there is sound)

still....cant hear anything. any advice? i dont want to buy a sound card if there's a fix. thanks.
