Call me a idiot but i want me some of these new industrial 2000rpm fans that are slowly starting to appear at retailers across the globe.

Noctua NF-F12 PWM IndustrialPPC 2000RPM

I want them to replace the Gentle Typhoons ive been running for the last 2-3years. The only downside to this upgrade is that these IndustrialPPC fans are pricey. You can get a 5400RPM typhoon cheaper than these noctua fans.

I'll need two for my H80i - I really want but its such a huge waste of money lol.

Has anyone had any experience with these fans?

(excuse the formatting - I copy pasted then i got lazy and didnt bother fixing)

Im not from the U.S & San Ace fans are ridiculously hard to find here in the UK, Most retailers just dont stock them. Also their not pwm. I was looking for a high rpm pwm fan with good static pressure that isnt made by corsair.
Gotcha. My gut instinct is the Noctua is overpriced for that purpose but idk about pwm. Aren't there PWM Scythe GTs?

nope, though i have read that the higher rpm scythe GTs can be modded to support PWM but I think Nidec changed the design with later batches and you cant do that anymore

I have the 1,500rpm version of the regular NF-F12 PWM's on the cooler of my main rig- replaced a set of Scythe Kama ? (forgot exact model?). The performance difference is negligible between them. Not sure what the extra 500rpm will do for you?

IF you want static pressure, try the CM JetFlo fans. They are not the quietest but they sure push a lot of air at full speed!

Gotta love misleading product names. Those fans are about as industrial as I am an organ player.

not quite misleading. Where as i dont know about running the fans under extreme heat/humidity, in tight spaces or inside a case thats packed with as much dust as the sahara has sand, I have seen the fan being operated while placed under a running tap and it just carries on working.

though the the fan is the IP67 version and not the IP52 i linked to.

It is definitely marketing though, its clearly a consumer fan down to its SSO bearing system (which looks like a sleeve bearing to me)

edit:
I have a hunch you could probably put any computer fan (DC motor) in water but I am not gonna test it, don't want to ruin my power supply
