Noctua's AM4 mounting system on AM5?

I reached out to Noctua to ask if I needed to buy their AM5 mounting kit for my Noctua NH-D15 chromax black cooler for AM5 and I got this answer which make me understand that their AM4 mounting system works on AM5 or do I misunderstand their technical supporter?

Yes, the AMD AM5 motherboard socket uses the same CPU cooler bracket size as the AM4 socket. This means that if you already have a CORSAIR cooler attached to an AM4 motherboard, you do not need to purchase new brackets or replace your cooler when upgrading your system to the new AM5 platform

and from the Noctua website

Since the stack-up height (height of the CPU and socket combined) as well as the backplate threads and their pattern are identical on AM4 and AM5, all Noctua coolers and mounting kits that support AM4 are upwards compatible with socket AM5, except the NH-L9a-AM4 and the NM-AM4-L9aL9i. I know that a socket and a LGA (Land grid array) ain't always the same height that was why I send the friendly folks at Noctua a email just to make sure but thanks @dirtyferret than I am not misunderstanding them at least

Been no issue here, if i remember right it's only when the cooler uses a none standard AM5 backplate as there are a extra 4 screw holes.
