thanx because the ones ur saying are good are WAY WAY over what most people would call a overclocking mobo... if the cpu goes say... from 3ghz to 5ghz and the mobo exploded (no thermal throttleing on) wat would u do? say i overclocked to 5ghz? lol the tech support will just hang up

There's only one DFI over $200, and that's the XPress 3200 chipset. The one for Intel might be over $200, but there are still good mobos under $200, that are made by Epox, and Asus, and MSI and such. And the Fatal1ty has 925 chipset, which is a little older than 945, 955, 975, and of course the new 965 chipsets.

well if u buy the newest 1s... (7800gts before...) as the 7900gtx and 7950s came out... the 7800s started to drop. so just get 1 like mine... and mod it like i said in the other thread and u have a pretty good mobo... i just have to figure out how to volt mod mine... can u plz visit my thread and tell me how?

I really don't know how. You should search it though...but I didn't even know about voltmodding a mobo before. Just overclock it right now, and if you feel there's not enough, then do the mod, but fi you feel fine with the overclocking settings, keep it. It's still a new board, just have fun with it first.

ya im still doing that awesome heatpipe mod... dont U think that mod is awesome and original idea (as in the materials) i mean... who ever thought of soldering the pipes? i have to turn in for the night now
