not fully working for 1800 gto

ATITOOL is not letting me change volts or monitor temps of the card.

these options dont even show

i tried reinstalling several times but still nothing. here is a screeen shot

hmmm......i dont think its a ATITOOL problem (but make sure you are using the lastest version, thats 0.25 beta 14, early ones mite not support your card). looks like the manufacture as locked you card. I've heard that they had done this to some of them. most users have found that by flashing them to the X1800XL (16 pipelines, instead of the GTO's 12) then the voltage becomes adjustable. not sure about the temperature thingy, the monitoring chip might be damaged.

1. does other software read the temperature?
2. can you modifed the voltage with other software?

ATI Tool is not the be all and end all. try RivaTuner or one of the others that are on this site and see what happens.

RivaTuner shows all the temps but its a bit confusing
I am also looking for an asus x1800 xl stock bios.
7150 3dmark05 score
my goal is 7500-8000

thats because your not use to it. there are a few good guides, check google. its alot more powerful than ATI Tool i believe.

Make sure you get a bios that matches your memory times

bios?
well my mem has a time of 2ns and i havent found any bios for an x1800 256 mb with that timimng other than the gto
im close to RMAing it to get an 7900gt
