NVCleanstall 1.9.0 - crash due to registry access problem

Hello, today I tried the program and selected only the base driver + physx + HD audio, plus all the extra features at the end (except unattended and hardware support).
Then I run the installer and it worked, but at the very end NVCleanstall crashed with the error "Requested registry access is not allowed".

I ran the program as admin plus I temporarily disabled some "Local Security Policies" restrictions for regedit, but I still got the issue.
By the way, I'm using Win7 Pro x64 and the driver 466.77 from the Nvidia website (even if the program found a newer one for some reason).

Eventlog just shows these errors:
- setup.exe_NVCleanstall, exception code 0xe0434352, application setup.exe, module C:\Windows\system32\KERNELBASE.dll
- Netframe 4, System.Security.SecurityException, "The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception."

EDIT: maybe it failed when it tried to apply the extra features?
For example, I see that the GPU IRQ is still 16 and not MSI.

Can you check which of the features on the last page triggers that error?

Should I even test more things on my system?
I got a BSOD after trying to play a video and then even the system restore failed :(

Very unlikely that that is caused by NVCleanstall

Should I even test more things on my system?
Would be appreciated, so we can figure out the registry problem

I haven't had BSODs in ages, so it must be some error with the Nvidia installation.
Anyway ok, I'll try.. hopefully this will go well.. btw should I select express or advanced setup?

makes no difference, because nvcleanstall will preselect the packages you'll be installing

This time I only selected Disable Telemetry: the program didn't crash and then restarted the computer normally.
So it must be some advanced option.

(btw, I'm always also deselecting Clean Install, because I don't want to lose my settings)

EDIT: nevermind, I lost the HD audio config anyway -_-'

--

Disable Telemetry + MSI option: no crash too.
But I notice that it also didn't change the GPU IRQ, since it's still at 16.

Btw I also notice a "NVDisplay.Container.exe" crash error in eventlog.
I installed it in the past when I used the tool "nvidia driver slimmer".
Should I select it again or just do a clean installation?

--

Weird.. now it worked correctly, even if I selected everything again o_O

The only difference with these tests is that I run the installation from NVCleanstall instead of creating & zipping the package.
Could it be some problem with it, then? (btw I previously extracted it in different folders, also temp)

--

Now I tried creating a package and run it.
I also selected "clean install" afterwards from the setup in the advanced settings (not before).
Sadly the installation failed.. did Windows re-added the driver automatically during the setup? :kookoo:
And btw the MSI thing never worked.

--

I don't understand what is happening anymore at this point.
After trying to install again directly from NVCleanstall and selecting the same things + Clean Install, now I'm getting the crash + registry access error again
I should have stopped while it was working.. now I'll retry the setup until hopefully it won't give me errors again, and then no more tests.

--

Ok, I think I've made it now.

And NVDisplay.Container seems to have stopped showing errors too, after the clean install.
(is it unrelated to NVCleanstall's NVContainer option, then?)

Btw, I also had to use a MSI utility to switch the GPU IRQ.
