I only see one thing or maybe im blind, Gtx 10xx series stock full( due to cripto wave price month ago) and rtx 20xx series price/ performance too high making gtx 10xx the best buy. Even though most of the rtx on the market are out of stock. I dont think that those high prices on the rtx series are crazy. Its just business at the end both are Nvidias cards 10xx and 20xx

it not Trumps fault, its China. They have fleeced the US for years, the tariffs would never have been needed if China practiced fair trade, so feel free to continue to be ignorant and point finger where ever you want if it makes you feel better.

I think its shit that we have to pay 25% too because all expenses are passed on to the consumer. I can accept that without whining about it, can you?

Right, because that is going to slow down China any. ;)

Better to keep your enemy closer and in good cheer instead of increasing hatred, especially when that enemy is going to be much bigger, much more powerful, and 3x your population size. That day is coming, I would have rather had them as my friend then my enemy. Good luck getting computer parts at all when they develop their own middle class and no longer even need America's economy. :D

Ahh, 720p @30fps RTX gaming inbound.

Pointless card. Not even the 2080Ti can do high resolution, high frame rate gaming with RTX enabled, so what exactly is the point in buying this card? Buy a 1080ti instead, and leave the RTX until nVidia make it fast and affordable, and more importantly, mainstream.

Let see reviews first shall we. Sure gtx1080ti and gtx1080 are in sale now and there's very good options to go with those. But I believe these will have on par price/perf ratio with those pascals + they have more forward looking vulkan and dx12 support. While it's most probably true that RT is just a gimmick on this particular card, it won't be that bad on traditional rendering.

Yup.

That is hypothetical. The real specs and performance numbers have yet to be released.

Of course it's hypothetical I just assumed it will be same perf. difference as there is between 1070ti and 1070 and calculated from there. But real specs are out already they are on their site and in more detailed on Turing white paper. Performance figures are not known yet, that's true.

Business is business. I agree a friend is better than other options, but with China not so much.

China is not the only source.

You don't want to anger too much, the only reason the United States can print money out of thin air is because China buys so many treasury bonds. When, not if, that day comes to an end and no countries want to buy our treasury bonds, America collapses, cause this whole printing a money out of thin air thing can't last forever.

Benchmark Scores 3050 scores good 15-20% lower than average, despite ASUS's claims that it has uber cooling.
nVidia will try to spin fake "reeeel ray tracing" (no, it's not real, it's still mostly rasterization) and inflate prices again.
Good luck.

RTX 2070 will still retail for $499

Right. $499, and not a cent more.
If you missed it, $499 is how we call $599 these days.

The performance of 2080 is only 14-20% better than 2070 beats 1080TI.
1080Ti is on par with 2080:

2070 will be significantly slower in normal games, one would need to switch on RTX gimmick to slow down 1080Ti for it to be beaten by 2070. The problem with the plan, however, is that even 2080Ti was struggling at 1080p with in hybrid RT mode.

2070 might be slower than 1080 then?

this should've been the RTX 2060. Due to no competition from the red team, nvidia can "up class' it and charge a fortune for it.
Sad really...

Here's to hoping for some good Christmas sales. Got my 1070 for like $350 during last holiday season when the 1070 cards were normally selling for around the $500 mark (because of the cryto frenzy).
