The latest version 195.62 fully support CUDA and lastest PhysX version.

do i have to enable it because ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre 3 isn't picking up cuda?

i think the 195.62 only support the tool kit, because cuda does not work

Doesn't say they've removed CUDA support for this driver so either something isn't working right. I assume the last drivers worked fine ?

I have 195.62 driver installed for my 8500GT. CoreAVC is picking CUDA without any problem (green icon) and it is working fine here. There might be some issue with ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre 3. Check it's settings.

lol, confusion, coreavc know about cuda, and work with cuda.
Arcost, PowerDVD, MCE, Sagetv, etc, know and work with Hardware Acceleration, DXVA 1.0 and 2.0, not CUDA.
Big differences

Try reinstalling TotalMedia. They didn't remove CUDA support from the drivers, so it's a software conflict of some sort.

Arcsoft has SimHD and also DXVA.
SimHD is an addon of Arcsoft, not Arcsoft itself.

PowerDVD 9 latest patch 2320 support CUDA for TrueTheater Effects (for numerous supported media types, very useful for ion based net(e)books) as well as use NVIDIA PureVideo HD (Hardware acceleration for HD media).
CoreAVC Professional 1.9.5.0 utilize CUDA for video decoding (MBAFF and PAFF).
Other players (MPC-HC, WMP, VLC etc.) utilize DXVA for this purpose.

Arcsoft SimHD (upscaling technology equivalent to TrueTheater in PowerDVD 9) is available as plugin only. It is not the part of Arcsoft.

well its not that hard to put to together, and yes cuda does work with these drivers but only some programs pick it up, i downloaded Badaboom and it worked fine but other programs didnt
